8 months on site, and this is where we are today.
Most people expect to see something rising above ground. Structure, height, visible change. A large part of any project happens before that.
What you’re looking at here is the final stage of foundation works, just before the upper raft slab is cast. This phase has taken time for a reason.
Column starter steel is now in place, connecting the foundation to the structure that will rise above it.
Reinforcement is being completed for the underground water tank, built for long-term strength, durability, and waterproof integrity.
MEP works are already embedded, with drainage, electrical, and plumbing systems installed before the concrete is poured.
Shuttering is set to ensure precision ahead of the next pour, while waterproofing has been applied across the foundation to protect the building long term in Dubai’s conditions.
No finishes. No facades. Just the part everything else depends on.
The next phase is where things start to come above ground.

Quick site update from Nooré in Meydan.
The lower raft foundation is now complete and the team is currently installing the reinforcement steel across the structure. You can also see the column dowels already in place, which will connect the foundation to the building above.
Once the steel installation is finished, the upper raft concrete will be poured and the project will move into the ground floor structure.
More updates soon as Nooré starts taking shape.
